Kitchen of our Forefathers (Kuchyna nasich predkov) is a monograph on a diet of the common people in Slovakia. The basic material for the book derives from ethnographic sources treating this topic from about the mid-19th century up to the present times. It is divided into six circuits. Eating, Preparation of meals, Vegetable foodstuffs, Animal nutrition, Drinks, Occasional dishes. A list of recipes of Slovak popular dishes is attached. Text is in Slovak language only. Summary is in English and German languages.
