You used http://lazarus.elte.hu/hun/maps/1910 to locate a town? On this old Lipto map the village is as Liptoujvar. Locate Vichodna and proceed South-West a bit to Liptoujvar.
Being that your Hradek was in old Lipto megye is now called Liptovs

Yes, Zlatica, I see it now.....thanks! What a relief to finally find this town. I have used some of those links, but not all. I'm sure most of the family is in Slovakia -- one ancestor went to Hungary in the 1700's, and I haven't had a clue before as
