That is how my grandfather listed his name on his wedding license, as, George Blanda Jakubek. He came to Johnstown PA and lived with an older sister whose last name was Duscak. I know very little about him other than he came from Lenartov, as a teenager

We know that BL'ANDA lists in Lenartov's phone book. www.zoznamst.sk Possible that Jakubek was an alias if there were several Blandas in that village. The church records would be best way to go.
