Drei Zinnen - Tre Cime di Lavaredo (The Three Peaks) are the landmark of the Dolomites and the nature highlight of the holiday region 3 Zinnen in the Dolomites. The Three Peaks are situated in the Three Peaks nature park and in 2009 they were declared UNESCO World Heritage, as were all other peaks of the Dolomites. Toblach/Dobbiaco is situated at the entrance to the romantically wild Val di Landro. The town is famous for its cultural highlights, in particular the Gustav Mahler Music Weeks. In the winter the Tour de Ski comes to Dobbiaco. The town is also venue for other cross country skiing competitions. There are plenty of hiking and climbing possibilities in the mountains around Dobbiaco.
