The Low Tatras - Nizke Tatry |
 The continuous mountain ridge of the original configuration between the upper basins of the rivers Vah and Hron, approximately 80 km long, with exquisite valleys both in the north and south - those are the Low Tatras. Their ridges are very diverse and offer marvelous views on the environments as well as on the High Tatras panorama.
The mountains have ideal conditions for both summer and winter tourism. Magnificent ski terrains, tows, lifts and comfortable hotels make the Low Tatras one of the most attractive tourist centers in Slovakia. In the upper part of the valley Demanovska dolina the up-to-date tourist and ski center of the European standard - Jasna - was built. According to the number of tremendous ski tracks, ski tows and lifts it is on the first place in Slovakia. Good snow conditions until the late spring enable sunny spring skiing.

| Demanovske jaskyne caves
 In the valley Demanovska dolina, in the limestone slopes the Demanovske jaskyne caves were carved by the chemical and erosive activity of the river Demanovka. The priority is kept by the Freedom Cave - Jaskyňa Slobody. It is exceptional by its living beauty water, which constaneously causes scarcely noticable changes in the cave beauty world. The cave rooms are rich in stalagmites and stalaktites. The formations are fantastic (the Rocky Chandelier, the Broken Pillar, the Weeping Willow) the halls (the Pink Hall), the cathedrals (the Janacek's Cathedral, The Bell Cathedral), the corridor, the small lakes.
