Hi,
I am researching ancestors from Lastovce also. I was there in 2003. I had my best luck at the East Slovakian Archives in Kosice. I dont know what religion your ancestors were but there are Calvanist - Reformed Church of Hungary records available at the arcives that the LDS Family History Centers do not have available , namely the later records starting I beleive in 1873 . I found four or five deaths for my families I hadnt been able to find before. Families I am researching in that area are - CZOVEK ,OSZE. NYOMARKAY . |
