The village is near the town of Sladkovicovo in the Galanta district. (on the route number E 571), about 40 km from Bratislava. There is the Summer Pool Blue Pearl and a lake, which is popular for fishing. The House of Folk Dwelling is in the village. Exhibition on the house is devoted style folk dwelling on southwestern Slovakia early in 20th century. The village is known for horse and greyhound racing.
